Missionaries

Who are the missionaries that CCNB support?

We have 3 missionaries that we support and pray for.

Dima Tribelsky - St. Petersburg, Russia

Dima came to know the Lord through the ministry of Calvary Chapel in 1994.  After a while he learned to trust Him and Dima dedicated his life to study the Bible and share the gospel with people around him.  He had a home group for three and a half years and many leaders of the church came out of this home group.  Dima learned to be a pastor in St. Petersburg under pastoe Walt Cesmat and Joel Kirtley.

In 1997 Dima was appointed an elder and then in 2002 Dima branched out to the Southern end of the city to start another fellowship called CCSaint Pete South.  Dima has a radio program on TWR that broadcasts in CIS.  His programs on Evangelism have been translated for Muslim countries and his program on Apologetics addresses many issues of modern believers.

Dima married Alina in 200 and they now have two children, Daniel is 7 years old and Dalina is 18 months old.  They homeschool Daniel.

The prayer for their family is to be good witnesses for the Lord's grace for their children and the people around them.  Pray for wisdom in ministry, for new ministry opportunities, for new workers on the field, for those men who are already in the minsitry that they together would grow in maturity and faith.

It is because of God's grace that as usual, every two days on Wednesday and Friday we go out preaching the gospel in the Tawng-tu-kung township and the Phawh-kan township to 40 non-believing people.

Beginning April 4th - 6th 2009, we set off to the Kung-ngin-dan village, Zalung township, Irrawaddy division and conducted the 'Salvation Campaign' for 3 days.  Even though we faced some difficulties on our way as we had gone there by boat on water, it's been a great blessing for us spiritually.  Hundreds of people came to listen to the gospel message and 40 attended our campaign regularly and 19 people came to believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and 7 took water baptism right after the campaign.

Beginning April 13th - 17th 2009, we held another 'Salvation campaign' at Beulah, Insein where 50 people came to feed on God's word.  Out of the non-believers 3 accepted Christ as their Savior and Lord, and out of the other nominal Christians, 9 people were revived again in spiritual awakening.  Dima came to know the Lord

It was on April 25th - May 5th 2009 that the Lord opened the door for the gospel at Syn-Chung village and its neighboring areas in the Laputte township.  We organised a 'Salvation Campaign' for 10 days.  In spite of the scarcities of drinking water, food, light etc, the Lord prepared the best way for us to reach out to the villagers who are in desperation for the gospel message.  There were around 40 people came to participate in the spiritual feast.  Out of them, 20 found new life in Christ and 11 people dedicated their lives to our Lord Jesus Christ and received water baptism right away.  Praise the Lord!

Please continue to pray that the Lord opens the door for the gospel in other areas as well that the lost find life, the weak find strength and the sick are healed.
