When most of us think of worship, we think of great music or unified singing or as that traditional Sunday morning ritual performed before announcements.  In reality, worship is more a position than a procedure.  It is our heart adjoined with the heart of Jesus and as a result throwing ourselves with full abandonment before the throne of God!

In the Psalms, we are admonished to, "Come let us worship and bow down.  Let us kneel before our Lord, our God, our Maker."  (Ps 95:6).  Though this describes a physical posture (and one that should be practiced!), the issue is more rightly one of an attitude and conduct of the heart.  Worship is the bowing of the heart to the Creator and Lover of our souls.  Allow the Father to lift your countance by kneeling low in heart.  It is a choice of the will that causes your heart to worship!  The Lord exalts the humble.  When we choose to bow low with our knees on the ground, then the Lord will lift our eyes up from the ashes and speak blessing into our hearts!
